The Life of Me is an work-in-progress adult visual novel depicting love, lust and sex between men.
The Life of Me offers:
- Six romancable characters, all with their own stories and hidden secrets that may be uncovered.
- A "choice-matters" narative that will gradually unfold as the stories go.
- Chances to meet new and interesting people along the way; is everyone as nice as they seem?
- Lots of CG's that may be unlocked in the gallery.
The Story
The story revolves around Oliver, an eighteen-year-old man that has just moved back to the town he grew up in. Admist old friends and new aquaintances, he learns about the world of grown-ups; reponsibilities, sexual exploration, and that everyone has secrets they wish to keep hidden.
Will he find love, uncover the secrets of his friends or just learn to enjoy what the world has to offer?
About
This visual novel is a one-man-show, first of my (currently empty) collection. There will be chapter based updates, and tweaks and fixes where the need occurs. It has been a learning curve on writing, coding and rendering images that hopefully does it justice.
The game is still in it's early stages, but most of the stories are already planned out. It will be updated by chapters as I finish them.
Support
A patreon account has been made for those that wish to support the project. There will be behind-the-scenes, early access for the newest updates, polls to influence the course of the story and exclusive NSFW CG's that will not be part of the game itself.
I have also opened a discord server for those who wish to join there for a chat, ask questions or just hang around. This is the first time I've tried Discord, so please excuse the mess.

Just curious, do you have a personal favorite among the romanceable boys? Wondering if maybe you put some extra attention to his material, not that I have a problem about it XD
Good question! Not gonna lie, I do love a bad boy like Trent, or a hunky daddy type like Gregor ;) Yet I do have soft spot for Jamie. I'm not quiet sure who's my favorite, though I notice I do use Trent a lot when testing new render settings.
Oh that's a good news! I'll only be expecting good stuffs for Trent's path now ;p maybe a one-time bottoming scene in the future if the character successfully help him to overcome his trauma and gain his complete trust (just a wishful thinking lol) good luck and stay healthy, i'll be waiting for the next chapter

Hi, i absolutely love this game its defo the best nsfw game ive played but im a bit stuck on how to unlock the second gallery image in gegors attic, ive unlocked every other gallery entry and the 1st and 3rd but im really confused on how to unlock the second one, thanks!
Oh, sorry! It seems I've made a little mistake there and forgot to use the image in the game. I'll have to get that fixed.

So, who isn't romanceable? Cause I have 7 save slots, one for each character and apparently one of them isn't truly a route. I'm guessing Brenden, but... Idk.
Anyway, love the game so far. It's deeper than a lot of these types of games, more story and less "fuck everyone in sight". I like that.

Well, the main romancable characters are Nathan, Jamie, Frank, Gregor, Trent and Martin. At least for now.
Alright. Definitely hope Brenden becomes available in the future, though for now I'll be happy with Trent and Nathan.
I absolutely loved this game! 🎮 Maybe it’s because I recently started playing and following visual novel-style games, but I got completely immersed in the experience. Every scene and environment in the game is incredibly well-made and interesting. 🌟 The characters are very well-developed, with straightforward texts and dialogues, which is great.
I loved every detail and every path the game offers. I’m eagerly waiting for the next chapters and rooting for Oliver to have a beautiful future, whether with Jaime or Frank 👨❤️💋👨💖 I really loved these characters! 🥹

I use FDM (Free Download Manager), but it also has problems sometimes when the file’s too large
Why are you using that, just download it normally on any browser (android included) and you should be fine

If you can, please consider numbering your files again, with version numbers.
I manually added numbers to the files, because I had an existing one. It might cause confusion in the future if people ever download updates, and are less meticulous than some.
I see what you mean. I use a program called Butler that updates the game files here on Itch.io, instead of deleting and uploading the new files. I'll check if it's possible to rename the files to the version number for the next release.

Lost all my progress due to computer issues... had to play every option again from scratch. I forgot how well done Jamie's uncut looks. For a moment, I was envious of Ollie. LOL.

Hope you'll be able to publish this game on Steam, Patreon and Itchio aren't working for me due to region policies, but I'd be happy to purchase it and Steam is the only international way/platform to do so.

Which one of the three are you having problems with? (Pc, Mac, Android). I’ve been trying to find what the problem might be, but haven’t found anything yet. Itch.io doesn’t have region blocking as a feature, so that’s not it.

It worked for me as well, check you downloads in browser history or maybe try another one? Normally there're some descriptions in case of errors, not always, but anyway.
Love this game, but i hope there will be more top scenes we can choose in the future update. I really wanna top & dominate some cold guys like Trent and some playboys like Brenden lol.

The best ending was the one with Jamie making a breakfast. :) The Trent one surprised me because I didn't like him much - he seemed cold and angry - but his storyline ended up being really good. And I'm REALLY curious why the mother forced Ollie to move to Nate's mansion. Like, I need to know yesterday.
I'm not sure what to think about Brenden, he looks the age of Ollie and twink-like in the dialogue shot (which is good because he's Jamie's friend), but in the scenes, he looks several years older.
But I'm all for the 5 of them (Ollie, Nate, Jamie, Brenden and Martin) going to the lake under a tent...

Breden is supposed to be around their age, yeah. I wanted him to look a bit more mature than Jamie and Ollie, but I might have stretched that a bit far… woops!
